Another small release. It contains fixes in the attack and spy scanner section that caused invalid attack/spy conditions making you loose battles.

if is about “Cannot start applet…” it is possible to have a cached page. Try to refresh the web page or force refresh (CTRL+F5), even clear up your browser cache.

hello. im having problems while trying to connect with a proxy. Whatever i try with the ip and port, it says “Couldn’t login, invalid http response”. But i’m 100% sure that the ip is correct and the proxy works (i tried it using IE. and firefox tools proxy).
Is it working, the proxy system? IF yes, explain how can i use it well?

the proxy is working only if doesn’t require authentication (e.g. empty username and password). I will try to fix the proxy authentication problem.

mm i see, but it is strange, because in my case the proxy i’m trying to use doesnt require any login and password. So i leave the box empty and i receive the error response.

unfortunately I have a single proxy from my job to try out and that works. Do you know some public proxy servers?

man that is so strange.. now i’ve tried another free proxy addres (ive tried more than 30 that worked on IE and mozzila, but not here!) and it worked now haha

Is there a way of making the login + proxy data be saved to once and all on our computer?
It does work right now, but when i close the window and open again sometime after it doesn’t.. i have to type all again for my accounts and different proxies.. and the login process takes a while here it is really tiresome

I do have one small question : is there anything wrong with View Queue from Scanner Control ? I find myself unable to open it.

programming is what I’m doing for living, lost somewhere in a big software company that is making software for banks, travel agencies, health care and so on.
Maybe would be fun to start playing beta again. I’ve started to get bored of gold. So hopefully I’ll start making a beta player also.

Yo, just logged into DT Beta, and found i had 5 billion odd unbanked gold… lol…
i was wandering where i can get your Beta Program, and full instructions on how to use it. i am a programmer, so hopefully it won’t be too hard to figure out.

I have a problem with the program.
When the page loads it just keep givin me the loading screen but the java aplication doesn’t appear.

Please check what Java version do you have installed
(make sure you have JRE version 6).
Also make sure the browser supports Java Applets. I know some 64 bit browsers have issues with Java.
Alternatively you can try another browser: IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera … etc

sorry to hear that, multiple accounts always draw attention of Lazarus … also depends what you are doing with the Player software. If you weren’t pay for the other account be sure they would ban that account too.

Hello,
i keep getting the “Cannot start applet…” thing.
I cleaned my browsercache (deleted all in internet explorer) and i still get the error. Is it possible to load the older version of the program somewhere? Because that one never gave me any problems.
I also have a question about the recruiter, it works in internet explorer and Safari, but not in firefox. I wonder how that is possible :/

I’ve just installed Windows7 and Java 6 update 14 and it works on Firefox 3. Try to reinstall Java, it should work.

Hey Ovid! Just wanted to say that the new “Update” of the attacker giving wrong results, is still a problem
On my previous L_U session, It spied succesfully and attacked players with much more defense then i entered in, about 5 times.
I put in 19m as the maximum defense, and it ended up attacking a couple people with 20m-30m+
Just wanted to notify you of that.

Also, Thank god you god the server back up, just as Azraelz did, i also had to buy Legend. =(
Couldn’t go back to clicking one by one again, Those multiwindow recruiters were great, but they still made it where my total carreer i’ve missed almost a month of clicking due to forgetting to click before 00:00.
But i’ll be ending my subscription after this month most likely, being as this is back up and all. Maby…
I’m likeing my long colorfull Profile =P They jipped the hell out of me on the Text count, says max is 500, but it only alows me to have 430. =(
Anyway, Grats on getting it back up. Please dear god don’t go back down T_T It makes us spend moneyz.

Oh! And i was thinking, is there anyway to implement a secondary recruiter? So you could also get your Link-citizens as well. I figured this would be done by implementing a program that would click Ovisual accounts and then change the proxy and re-click it again until all players on the recruiter can’t gain anymore.
How ever, i guess, this may actually bring more attention to Ovisiual users. Perhaps it isn’t a good idea.
Never-the-less, an idea.

The attacker has some bugs and sometime gives the wrong results. Boomer … unfortunately I don’t play DarkThrone anymore (I don’t have time for this) and I can’t say when these bugs will be fixed … actually never
Maybe I will share the source code and someone could take over development.

I’ve been soooo patiant waiting for the View Queue button to finnally be enabled with no bugs. Me and a friend had an idea on using the View Queue to make lists of players that meet our requirements for certain things, and use it kind of as a way to get good info on potential High Powered&Active recruits. =P
You do know, alot of people are really serious about this game, and your Player? It is a godsend for some of us. Please don’t stop the production v.v
If you do, i’ll have to go back to clicking :\ That’d be the end of my DT career xD

oh noes… you won’t be updating anymore?
I too was very anxious about the view queue… it will be great to see the players names of those in the queue (before attacking so I know who to attack… the unnofficial allies I have to check personally
)
I don’t know much of programing but since your program already do it all do you think it will be difficult to show us the output of the players it find matching our criteria?

As for testing it, well if you manage to get it to work we can test it for you
(perhaps it can show the player results in the log… it will be good already… or some kind of spreedsheet, I mean it has to have the results saved somewhere… or not xD)

i have used it in IE8, FF, Chrome, Safari. running on my Vista. and every time i try, it loggs me out whenever i click recruit…. but i can do everything else.

i don’t know how to use the player… i only need it for banking gold when i am asleep. i logged in with my account, got to the banking section, checked the box with the amount of gold… and then what should i do ? Because when i got up i saw that nothing happen …
Can you help me with some tips ?

@Gabriel, … as the above dude said … you have to let the program up and running over night. The program is not doing anything on the server, all the playing stuff is done from your computer.

As the stats page indicate (Unique users: 85) this program is still in vogue. Maybe I will start to play again DT and provide some new and juicy features.

Ovidiu, daca ai putea sa-mi dai un mail cu un ym ceva, sau niste date, te-as putea ajuta cu dezvoltarea… si cum am mai scris sigur undeva, in contact cred, nu prea am incredere sa bag datele in program… e clar ca tii o evidenta. poti sa-mi dai si mie .jar-ul, sa il rulez de la mine? sau codul sursa, poate imbunatatesc botul cu ceva… ai emulat un browser? vezi ca sunt si niste chestii de care trebuie tinut cont.. un key care apare random in linkuri… si mai multe. de-aia nu mi-am facut bot inca.

codul ala e un session identifier … il genereaza serverul si trebuie sa-l folosesti tot timpul.
E usor sa observi treburile astea folosind un browser plugin pt debug de genul Firebug pt Firefox.
Deocamdata nu am facut public codul sursa din motive de securitate a celor ce-l folosesc. Cei de la DT pot sa vada astfel cum functioneaza si sa il detecteze mai usor.
De asemenea nu am vrut sa arat codul sursa si pt ca arata destul de rau; deh, am si eu mandria mea
Curand o sa mai mesteresc ceva la el, deci un nou release. Mi-am deschis un cont nou de DT … deocamdata creste in populatie si numar de mutari.

Well, cum am zis si in alta parte, prefer sa vorbim via e-mail sau un instant messaging, ca am cateva idei… in beta eu am facut toti botii folositi de aor, si nu numai… poate ne unim tastaturile si iese ceva mai frumos

Salut. Folosesc de ceva timp gold player’ul pentru atacuri. Insa in ultimul timp la fiecare scanare (cu orice configuratie de parametri) nu imi gaseste niciun jucator pe care sa il bage in queue si sa il atace. Poti repara asta?
P.S. Am incercat in alt browser, am facut update la java si nimic.
